This is an enthralling read with groundbreaking new evidence on an item that has long intrigued scientists, professors, historians, and the world alike: kindness.

Read as I take a deep dive into the history of this characteristic, how it is relevant today, and what we can do to improve on it.

This is one of my most raw, intense, controversial, and enthralling pieces I’ve ever written. Continue on at your own risk.

Welp. I’ll cut right to it. We all need to just be a little bit more f*cking nice.

So, I’ve written up my solution!

Here are 17 challenging items we can all try to do today that all involve kindness.

This is exactly that deep dive I was talking about earlier and I want you to take it all very seriously. Lots of research and development went into this article and the waves it could create internationally are unknown.

The list is a tried, tested, and true concoction that can create things like positivity, encouragement, badassery, honesty, and humility.

Can YOU do all 17?

  1. Jam out in your car with your windows down. Get someone in a car near you to laugh.
  2. Upon arrival at an establishment, loudly compliment the first person you see.
  3. Smile a lot. But not like a lot lot where you look psychotic or something.
  4. Take ten minutes to write a letter to a loved one.
  5. Be, like, two notches less sarcastic. At least for one day.
  6. Express gratitude for a specific family member via a phone call. Bonus points for calling two.
  7. Find something lovely or cool as hell about your day and tell a friend. If they say “who cares”, also go find another friend who appreciates your fun times more.
  8. Under no circumstances can you be a dick to anyone. For at least a DAY.
  9. Consult a coworker who you look up to for advice on something.
  10. Kiss your significant other. Or if you’re single, a pet works…And if you’re reallllllly alone, just take a long shower and listen to Flo Rida radio on Spotify. Impossible not to smile.
  11. Initiate a conversation with a random person you meet in public. Talk about something OTHER than the weather.
  12. Never yell at babies or dogs or anything like that. This goes for all days, not just today.
  13. Get outside for an hour. Something about being in nature chills people the f*** out.
  14. No expletives all day. You can only exclaim nice things. NICE THINGS.
  15. In line today, buy someone their lunch or coffee. They’ll tweet about the kind stranger in front of them all day long.
  16. Cancel any negativity and ignore the haters.
  17. Enjoy reading the first letters of this list from 1 to 17.

BOOM. I didn’t exactly plan on changing the world today, but there’s nothing wrong with accidentally doing it right? Hope all you lovely devils enjoyed and remember, just be fucking nice.
